Drawing from her research in equity, diversity, and inclusion—and her lived experience as a woman in a traditionally male-dominated field—Jocelyn brings a nuanced perspective to this important conversation. This session will explore the impact of tokenism and offer practical tools for building inclusive, psychologically safe workplaces.

    Join Dr. Jocelyn Peltier-Huntley for WESK’s June Monthly Mentorship session, where she’ll speak on Calling in Your Allies. Drawing from her research in equity, diversity, and inclusion, Jocelyn will explore the importance of building meaningful connections and leveraging networks—especially as entrepreneurs and solopreneurs navigating business alone. She’ll share practical strategies on identifying allies, sponsors, and mentors who align with your values and goals. Jocelyn will also offer insights from her experience working with a Virtual Assistant to support and scale her business.

    Following the 20-minute talk, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and receive tailored guidance in a supportive, mentorship-style format.
